Kris Stewart (formerly Wendy Beard) is a big fan of the TV cartoon Rocky and Bullwinkle. I always liked Bullwinkle best, Rocky was just too goody-two-shoes for me. Second best was Dudley Do Right of the Mounties. I guess I was destined to marry a Canadian, eh? was created by Ted Key.

One of the great things about tracing your family history is the rush of
excitement you experience when uncovering the details of your ancestors'
lives. Whether it's seeing your great-grandmother's name on an original
census roll from the 1800's, or finding out that great-uncle Hank was actually
born in Colorado Springs (not Denver, as the story was told), the feeling of
connection to your family history is truly incredible.

Unfortunately, in order to find these records and experience this joy, you'd
usually have to spend countless hours (and likely thousands of dollars)
visiting local government offices all over the country - in the hopes that you
can track down a few pieces of relevant information. To solve this problem,
we've scoured hundreds of government offices across the country to collect and
organize the most interesting and useful historical records in one single
location. In fact, we put over 1 billion records right at your fingertips!
